Director, USF St. Petersburg Innovative Education 

David has been working to support faculty for nearly three decades. Having a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, he is currently the Associate Director of Innovative Education St. Petersburg. David leads a dedicated team that works with faculty and staff to create a collaborative approach to instructional and curriculum development, design new classroom learning environments, and harness the power of technology in order to achieve academic and research excellence. David brings his expertise in online education along with extensive and varied experience in instructional classroom technology to the InEd Team.

David is an author, educator, and an experienced professional in the instructional technology and design field for higher education. Responsible for developing and directing the implementation of instructional design, technology, and development strategy, resolving complex issues, and promoting the optimal use of instructional design or technology supporting the strategic initiatives USF St. Petersburg. He strives to be a highly engaged, visible, empathetic, and collaborative leader with a deep understanding of the evolving challenges facing higher education and continuing education. 

We provide services to a user-base of over 6,000 faculty, students, staff, and research teams for their teaching, collaboration, and learning technology needs. This includes media capture and delivery; classroom design, installations, and support; mobile AV and production services for classrooms and special events support; instructional video studio; development and support for virtual learning environments and online learning applications; faculty development support for teaching, learning and technology in both classroom and virtual environments. Oversee staff of 10 and the annual budget of ~$2m. Act as subject matter expert on a wide variety of educational technology needs.
