Oxford Scholarship Online is an online resource that aggregates ebooks from Oxford University Press. It is updated on a regular basis. The Oxford Scholarship Online Law Collection contains publications ranging from the foundations of legal history and philosophy to analytic and comparative work on legal doctrine and empirical research on law in modern society. Subtopics include: Constitutional and Administrative Law; Criminal Law and Criminology; Human Rights Law; and Intellectual Property, IT, and Media Law.
Over 400 books are published annually in Springer’s Humanities, Social Sciences and Law program, making it a well-known and established scientific source. A leading publisher in the areas of Philosophy of Science, Phenomenology, Educational Research and Higher Education, Springer has made available renowned works such as The Selected Works of Arne Naess, Encyclopedia of the History of Science, Technology and Medicine in Non-Western Cultures (by Selin), Higher Education: Handbook of Theory and Research (by Smart), or A Treatise of Legal Philosophy and General Jurisprudence (by Pattaro et al).
The Nelson Poynter Memorial Library utilizes the Library of Congress Classification system to organize books in our collection. Law books will generally fall under the call number K, with US law under KF, and Florida law under KFF.

The UBorrow service allows faculty and currently enrolled USF St. Petersburg students to bypass the regular interlibrary loan system and send a direct request to another state university library in Florida.
Materials that are not available at the USF St. Petersburg Nelson Poynter Library may be requested from other USF libraries or from libraries outside of USF. This free service is available to any professor or currently enrolled USF student; however, we are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date so please plan ahead. You will be notified by email when the book is ready for pick up at the Poynter Library or when the scanned article is ready for access.
