What is a Database?
A database is an organized collection of resources
Google is a search engine that searches through multiple databases but its only finding databases based on its algorithms
Academic databases search particular resources and are often disciplinary
They can be multidisciplinary or subject specific
No matter what, a database is only as smart as the information we put into it
