CITL supports various Faculty Learning Communities or FLCs. These communities are built of 6-12 people and are designed to foster communication among faculty members across disciplines and promote innovation in teaching and learning. The FLC also has $5000 to support activities and materials related to the FLC or their teaching—the funds may be used for supporting speakers, attending professional development events, and instructional materials in support of their teaching. FLCs will then share their knowledge and experiences during the Bay to Bay symposium and CITL Week of Teaching events.
