Reserving Library Spaces

 

Library Space Reservations

Several areas of the library allow reservations for use.  For the full Listing of all Spaces and Forms, see the Library Spaces Page.  To reserve items, including library spaces, visit the Library Online Forms Page.  Large and small study rooms are available for use by USF students, faculty, and staff by reservation only.  Keys to the study rooms may be checked out at the circulation desk.

 

Library Study Zones

Second floor is the quiet area for studying alone or working with others. No loud noises, music, or socializing.

Third floor is the silent floor for people wishing to study alone.  Please no cell phones, conversations, noisy food, or group work permitted.

Did you Know…

  • A valid USF ID is needed to checkout a Study Room
  • Study Rooms are checked out for a maximum of 2 reservation slots (up to 6 hours per day.)
  • If you do not pick up your room key within 15 minutes of your reservation, the system will cancel it automatically.
  • The fine for overdue room keys is $5/hour, maximum $25.00 fine.
  • The fine for a lost key is $100.

Study rooms contain large screen monitors which may be connected to a laptop computer to supply audio and video for group project work. Wireless access is available throughout the library. Study rooms also contain a white board, and white board markers & erasers are available for checkout at the circulation desk.
