Personal Narrative

Camielle Crampsie started working at the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus as a work study student in 2007. In 2011 she became a full time Library Assistant working in Access Services.  In 2014 she earned her MLIS from USF and soon after transitioned to a Librarian position. 

Camielle Crampsie is the Marketing and Outreach Librarian at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Her interests include encouraging student engagement from academic support to holistic student support. She develops programs and initiatives that promote library services and resources while also fostering a sense of community and support for students. Outside of the library Camielle enjoys reading, cooking, exploring parks, and spending time with her family.
