Access Services



PRONTO Document Delivery service provides current USF students, staff, and faculty with scans of book chapters and articles held in print at the USF St Petersburg campus library. All requests are handled through ILLiad, an automated Interlibrary Loan/Document request system. 

  • Documents are electronically delivered to your ILLiad account 
  • We can only scan 15% from any circulating book. Faculty requests in excess of this will be delivered as a book loan to a Campus Department mailbox
  • All other requests will be forwarded to Library Services Desk staff as a retrieval request and be placed on hold under patron name

PRONTO Books & More service is a retrieval service for USF Faculty on USF St. Petersburg campus. 

  • The service will pull books from the USF Libraries Circulation Collection and place books on hold for Faculty patrons only. (Up to 20 requests per week.)

If you qualify for this service, please fill out the Pronto Books form and submit your request. Please note requests take 1-2 business

days for processing. Requests received on the weekend will be processed on the following Monday
