To support the continued health and safety of everyone in the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library, we have implemented a new USF ID card swipe system at the library entrance. Only current USF students, staff, and faculty are allowed in the USF Libraries at this time.

New students should request their initial USFCard through MyBullsPath, or directly at the USFCard Request Site.

All other requests including card replacements should be placed online at the USFCard Request Site.

While the USF St. Petersburg library is closed due to the coronavirus, we are working to ensure continued access to the library collections with enhanced services, such as scanning in course required readings and chapters/articles from our print books, and mailing USF St. Petersburg library print books to current USF St. Petersburg students, faculty, and staff.  For questions you may have at this time, please email:

The point of contact for materials within the library, Access Services includes Circulation, Reserves, and Interlibrary Loan.

Circulation
Comprised of a circulation desk, self-checkout, and materials access point Circulation sets circulation borrowing privileges based on USF borrower’s status.

 

Course Reserves
A service provided by the Poynter Library to USF St. Petersburg students, teaching faculty & staff. This service allows professors to place items such as textbooks, study guides, and supplemental resources on Course Reserve for the benefit of their students.

 

Interlibrary Loan
Processes requests for items located in other libraries, including Libraries of the USF System as well as those around the country and beyond. This department also fulfills borrowing requests from other libraries, with books as well as with articles in various alternate formats
